Rachel, Kirsty and The Angels are having a picnic on a hill overlooking the Rainspell Island Music Festival. The girl band gifts them autograph books and start singing the first few lines of their song ‘Key to My Heart’. They sound terrible though, because Adele’s magic clef necklace has been stolen. The Angels leave after telling the girls they can watch A-OK rehearse and Adele the Singing Coach Fairy flies out of the picnic basket, ready to search for the clef.
At A-OK’s rehearsal tent, the boys’ singing sounds horrible and even their melodramatic singing coach Alto Adams’ singing is ruined too. The A-OK boys sign the girls’ autograph books before being interrupted by someone singing amazingly. To the girls’ horror, a goblin called Gobby reveals himself to be the singer, and Alto, mesmerised by his voice, invites him to join A-OK. Disturbed, the girls and Adele leave the rehearsal tent, trying to come up with a plan.
Rachel and Kirsty find Gobby in a crowd of fans and take him to the trailer. There, thanks to Adele's magic, he sees a dressing area made especially for him, with a new stage costume and an identical clef necklace. Gobby is sure the one he’s wearing is the real one, but Kirsty takes the necklace, wears it and starts singing... badly.
Rachel is convinced it sounds brilliant though, and when Gobby tries singing wearing his necklace, the girls cover their ears in pain. He takes Kirsty’s fake necklace and gives the girls the real one, with Adele magicking it back to fairy size. Gobby realises he’s been tricked and storms out the trailer, marking his departure from A-OK. The girls enjoy A-OK’s performance thanks to Adele’s magic and are excited to find the next one.
