Jack Frost's Poem[]
Aha! What's that I hear?
A precious bundle will soon be near.
I think I'll take it for my own,
And keep it in my icy home!
A royal baby was a surprise,
But a good one, I now realise.
I'll teach it to play tricks on fairykind,
And Fairyland will soon be mine!

Royal Nursery in Norwood Palace
Rachel, Kirsty and Mrs Tate are on the way to Norwood Palace, where Mrs Tate is helping with a children’s open day. She allows the girls to explore on their own and they run off into the palace. They eventually come to an attic room full of boxes of toys. Kirsty finds a book of fairytales and a cloud of fairy dust explodes from it, revealing Alexandra the Royal Baby Fairy.
The king and queen show the girls what happened in the Seeing Pool
She explains her job of giving her magic silver rattle to each royal baby for her magic to affect them, but tells them that her rattle isn’t missing, but the royal baby. The girls agree to help and Alexandra magics them to Fairyland where they’re greeted by a few of their old fairy friends, the King and Queen and Princess Grace and Prince Arthur. Everyone gathers around the Seeing Pool and watch as Foster the Stork and the royal baby are kidnapped by Jack Frost.
Goblins trying to entertain the royal baby
Alexandra, Kirsty and Rachel decide to fly to the Ice Castle to look for them. There are a few goblin guards but they’re able to fly in through a window. They follow a squawking sound to the Throne Room where Foster is caged. He tells them how Jack Frost thought he was carrying gold or treasure rather than a baby and didn’t know what to do when he found out. Alexandra lets him out and he flies back to The Fairyland Palace. The fairies continue searching for the baby and find him asleep in another room surrounded by seven goblin trying to entertain him. They hide and watch.
Jack Frost with the royal baby
They learn that the goblins are trying to train the royal baby on pulling tricks on fairies, but suddenly, the baby wakes up and starts crying loudly. As Alexandra goes to pick him up, Jack Frost bursts in and freezes her. However, the baby flies over to Jack Frost and grabs his wand, waving it around creating ice bolts hitting goblins and Alexandra, undoing her spell. The fairies tell Jack Frost how much work looking after a baby would be and that since he’s so good with the royal baby, they should get him a different baby that’s easier to look after. They all go outside to see Foster has returned carrying a snow goose chick and Jack Frost greets it with joy.
Alexandra takes the royal baby back, gives him her rattle and they and Foster fly back to the King, Queen, Princess Grace and Prince Arthur. The fairies celebrate as the baby is reunited with his parents and the Queen thanks them, returning them to Norwood Palace, where they help with the open day. At the end of the day, Mrs Tate tells them the news that Kirsty’s cousin Esther has had her baby and the girls are excited to meet them.
