Jack Frost's Poem[]
Wintry weather's my domain,
I love the hail and freezing rain.
Alyssa's magic makes me sneer,
The winter gloom should last all year!
I want the winter winds to bite,
And folk to shiver day and night.
I'll steal her icy spells and then,
The spring will never come again!

The Magical Snowflake[]
A large group of goblins was gathered, sitting on garden chairs and swinging their legs. The chairs were facing a bandstand, where Jack Frost was sitting on a throne of ice
Rachel and Kirsty are playing catch in Rachel’s garden when they watch a snowflake fall near them and slowly grow and Alyssa the Snow Queen Fairy appears out of it. She tells the girls how Jack Frost has stolen her magic objects that look after winter and the girls agree to go to Fairyland to find them.
They arrive at a swirling tower of snow, Alyssa’s home in the Blue Ice Mountains. She debriefs them on her stolen objects and they fly to the Ice Castle where Jack Frost’s probably keeping them. When they arrive, they spot Jack Frost in the battlements reading something to a group of Goblins. Kirsty spots Alyssa’s snowflake in a glass dome.
Rachel realises Jack Frost is reading the story of The Snow Queen to the goblins and the goblins start getting bored since it’s the fourth time. Jack Frost scolds them, saying they need to learn about the Snow Queen since she’ll be ruling Fairyland and the human world alongside him soon. The fairies realise he took Alyssa’s objects to impress the Snow Queen “when” she arrives.
Kirsty asks Alyssa to magic up a snow queen made out of ice and the statue appears by Jack Frost. While he and the goblins are goggling at her, the fairies fly to the glass dome and they lift the lid. But the snowflake drifts off, causing Alyssa to shout from her hiding place. Jack Frost orders the goblins to catch the snowflake as it floats away.
Jack Frost holds the ice snow queen’s hand and realises she’s made out of ice. A gust of wind blows the snowflake into Alyssa’s hands and all the fairies fly away, watching the muddy snow covering Fairyland turn white. Alyssa thanks them and magics them back to the garden, where the grey clouds have parted and the sun starts to shine.
The Enchanted Mirror[]
"Quickly, open the curtains!" said Rachel, feeling excited
That evening, Mr Walker lights a fire and Mrs Walker reminds the girls not to get ready for bed so they’ll be too tired to play tomorrow. The girls are confused, thinking the weird mistake is to do with Alyssa’s missing objects. They see Alyssa flying among the snowflakes outside and let her in.
Jack Frost with five fairy wands in his pocket!
She explains her missing mirror is causing people to forget the difference between good and bad. Jack Frost became so angry Alyssa tricked him with the fake Snow Queen that he kidnapped some young fairies and enchanted them to work for him.
Alyssa takes the girls to the Ice Castle, distracting the freezing goblin guards with blankets and hot food and sneaking in to hear Jack Frost bossing fairies around in the Throne Room. When his back’s turned, Alyssa, Rachel and Kirsty talk to the fairy servants who are convinced they’re having a good time being imprisoned, thanks to the missing mirror. They find out he made the young fairies look into the mirror, which is in his cloak pocket.
As he bosses more fairies around, Kirsty tries to take the mirror out of his pocket but he pulls it tighter around himself as he’s cold. Kirsty suggests Alyssa could raise the temperature so he’ll take his cloak off. He does exactly that but as the girls search through it, the young fairies’ wands fall out with a clatter and Jack Frost grabs Kirsty and scares Rachel and Alyssa away.
Rachel announces that Jack Frost is a coward because he won’t take the mirror out of his cloak and determined to prove her wrong, he does exactly that and looks in the mirror. Immediately, his demeanour changes, letting go of Kirsty and giving the mirror back to Alyssa, since he doesn’t know the difference between good and bad anymore. Alyssa magics the young fairies away just as Jack Frost snaps out of it. She sends Rachel and Kirsty back to Rachel’s room, with Mrs Walker entering to say goodnight.
The Everlasting Rose[]
The others giggled and bashed their helmets together
The next morning, the girls are walking Buttons through the park. They find some goblins in a bush wearing diving suits and round diving helmets. By eavesdropping, the girls learn the everlasting rose is at the bottom of the frozen lake in the park. However, Buttons, a notorious goblin hunter, barks at them and the goblins run to dive into the lake to protect the rose.
Then, with a splash and spray of water, one of the goblins shot out through the hole and landed on the bank
As the girls watch the goblins, a white bird flies over to them with Alyssa on its back. Alyssa can’t fly underwater, so how will they get the rose back?
Rachel suggests they fish for it and Alyssa magics up a fishing rod and snacks to lure the goblins. Kirsty casts the line into the hole in the frozen lake with the goblin bait attached and she catches a goblin, Alyssa magicking him away eating his snacks. Kirsty reels in another goblin but he appears holding the snack box and a glass box containing the rose.
He refuses to give it to them and Kirsty thinks back to the story of The Snow Queen. She tells the goblin that they have an ice puzzle and if he can solve it, he must be really clever. Alyssa magics up an ice jigsaw and the goblin attempts to solve it holding the glass box and the snack box. He puts the boxes down and starts working on the puzzle as Alyssa retrieves her rose.
As the goblin finishes the puzzle, he sees Alyssa holding the rose. She sends the goblin back to the Ice Castle and thanks the girls for helping her. They collect Buttons and set off back through the park, marvelling at the beautiful winter weather.
