Willow is known for loving an adventure and discovering places, as the harder a place is to get to, the more she likes it. She has dreamed of finding the Lost City in the Congo jungle all her life. She has friends in the Congo who helped them get to the Lost City: pilot Scarlett and boat-owner Nell. She also has a daughter one year older than Rachel named Margot and they travel together. They have been to the Amazon rainforest amongst other places. In Ellen the Explorer Fairy, she was greatly affected by the loss of Ellen's objects. In Maryam the Nurse Fairy, her daughter is in hospital, having her tonsils removed.
