Jack Frost's Poem[]
Princesses live a life of ease,
With clever servants, keen to please.
My life should be this grand and fine,
So Catherine's objects must be mine!
I want applause for how I dress.
I want my speeches to impress.
Goblins, take her objects three,
And give her royal flair to me!

The Priceless Earring[]
Rachel, Kirsty and Mr and Mrs Tate are gathered outside the palace in The City along with a few hundred tourists, waiting to see the three princesses. Rachel and Kirsty find a fairy on the bars of the gate, who introduces herself as Catherine the Fashion Princess Fairy. There’s a problem in Fairyland and she needs their help. The girls hide behind a postbox as Catherine magics them away to her dressing room in The Fairyland Palace.
Catherine explains Princess Grace is supposed to make a speech in a few days, but Catherine can’t help her look and sound her best without her magic objects, which were stolen by some Goblins that morning. They all decide to look for the earrings, given to her by Shannon the Ocean Fairy, the shoe from Lucy the Diamond Fairy and the bag from Claudia the Accessories Fairy.
Bertram says he didn’t see anyone leave, so the fairies realise the goblins must still be in the palace. Unfortunately, all the other fairies are having a picnic in the bluebell forest so they can’t help look, but eventually the three fairies hear three goblins messing around with Catherine’s objects in a small cloakroom.
The goblins run away and climb out the window, but Catherine manages to pluck the earring from the goblin’s ear as he’s about to climb out.
The other two escape with their objects and Kirsty and Rachel promise Catherine they will help get the others back. Catherine magics them back to the city, rejoining Kirsty’s parents. Mrs Tate’s university friend Bee is the three princesses’ stylist and meets them to have a nice day out in the city.
The Ornamental Shoe[]
The next morning, Rachel and Kirsty wake up early because Bee has arranged for them all to go to the royal gallery opening, where Princess Edie will be. Bee gifts the girls matching purple velvet purses and they all set off for the gallery. As they look around, they find Catherine behind the curtains covering the plaque Princess Edie will reveal.
A gallery official then announces Princess Edie may be late and Catherine chalks it up to Jack Frost’s trouble. The girls notice a noisy school group in the gallery are actually goblins.
The girls hide under the table while Catherine turns them into fairies. They fly through the gallery and hear the goblins in a ‘No Entry’ room, slipping around on the polished floor. One goblin becomes bored of having to look after the ornamental shoe, so he hides it inside a vase sculpture and the goblins start to leave. Unfortunately, just as Kirsty and Catherine fly inside the vase, a goblin spots them and turns it upside down, trapping them inside.
The goblins boast to Rachel about how clever they are, so Rachel decides to ask them one question to see how clever they are - what was the colour inside the vase? Rachel shakes her head at each guess, so one goblin lifts up the vase to check, letting Kirsty and Catherine fly out, with Catherine holding the shoe. The goblins angrily leave, arguing with each other and Catherine thanks Rachel and leaves for Fairyland.
The girls race back to the gallery opening where Princess Edie has arrived. She pulls a tassel that opens the curtain, revealing a plaque commemorating the opening.
The Jewelled Clutch Bag[]
Kirsty wakes up in the middle of the night. She in turn wakes up Rachel and they both stay silent to hear what woke Kirsty up. A light appears and grows brighter, turning into Catherine, who’s desperate to get her clutch bag back, since Princess Grace’s speech will be in the morning. Catherine explains a night owl told her he was flying over Goblin Grotto and heard a goblin making a speech. The clutch bag gives whoever holds it the confidence to make speeches, so he must have it. Rachel and Kirsty get dressed, Catherine magics them all warm coats and they travel to Goblin Grotto.
All the huts are empty, so the girls go into the village centre where the goblins are gathered around a goblin standing on a soapbox talking about all the other colours goblins could be apart from green. Catherine sees he is holding her magic clutch bag. The girls discover they physically can’t move their legs, so Catherine tells them to cover their ears, as the magic makes his speech so interesting they couldn’t stop listening. Just then, someone yells “STOP!” and the other goblins disperse. The girls see Jack Frost is yelling at the speech goblin that he should be guarding the bag, not using it for himself. He grabs the bag and stomps back to his Ice Castle.
The girls follow him up the slippery path. When they come to the door guarded by two goblins, they manage to be let in by the guards, since they’re wrapped up in so many warm garments. Catherine turns them into fairies and they all fly up to the battlements where Jack Frost is making a speech about himself, with many goblins in attendance.
Catherine magics up earmuffs to stop the compelling speech magic getting to them. The fairies fly at the bag, being held by Jack Frost, but he spots them. Kirsty flies above his head, jeering at him to catch her, so he reaches into the air to grab her, but drops the bag. Catherine manages to catch it and fly up to safety along with Rachel and Kirsty.
Catherine hastily magics herself and the girls back to her dressing room, where she puts her bag with the other objects and thanks them for their help. She takes them back to their bedroom, wishes them goodnight and vanishes. When Mr Tate wakes them up, the girls find their bedroom mirror showing a scene of Princess Grace confidently making a speech, with the fairy audience clapping and Catherine standing proudly in the background. The girls are glad to have helped the princess.
