Fern has light brown hair that she wears in a pony tail. She is seen wearing shorts and a collared t-shirt, with a stopwatch and whistle around her neck and trainers on her feet.
Story[]
Fern is a lifeguard and swimming instructor and the girls meet her in a diving lesson. Kirsty's teacher, Mrs Harris, introduces Fern. Fern then explains how to dive, reassuring Megan that she will be able to do it. She tells a goblin off for showing off and jumping off the highest board. She's surprised that the class is diving quite so terribly, and only the girls know it's because Keiko's flip-flops have been stolen. At the end, Fern praises Megan's dive.
