Victoria the Violin Fairy is the sixth fairy in the Music Fairies series.

When Victoria waves her magic wand, red sparkles fly from the tip. When she plays her violin, blue sparkles flash all around it. Victoria is full of energy and she likes to keep things moving at a fast tempo. Victoria is an accomplished step dancer. She can really kick up the heels of her cowboy boots when she plays a lively Celtic or Country and Western fiddle tune.

Victoria has shoulder-length black hair with purple highlights and pale brown skin. She wears a lilac vest top decorated with a butterfly pattern over a black T-shirt, a loose brown belt around blue jeans with pink stitching, and brown cowboy boots. Her wings are dark blue-tinted.

Kirsty’s dad tells the girls his friend Charles has called him asking if the girls want to hear a band that’s been rehearsing at Wetherbury College, where Charles works. Kirsty and Rachel say they do, and are soon dropped off at the college. In the auditorium, the girls are impressed by the players’ skill, especially since they seem so young, and Rachel whispers to Kirsty that they might be Goblins with one of the Magical Instruments. Moving to seats nearer the stage, the girls confirm that the four musicians are goblins - they even start complaining in low voices in between songs that Jack Frost hasn’t bothered to rehearse with them yet. With no saxophone in sight, the girls conclude that the violin one goblin’s playing must be Victoria’s magic one, but they’re still wondering how to get it back without Charles seeing when Victoria herself sneaks out of a footlight to meet them.
Kirsty asks Victoria to make Charles’s cell phone ring so he’ll leave the room. Victoria does, assuring the girls her magic has also made a voice on the other end that will keep Charles chatting for a while. Their song interrupted, the goblins begin arguing over which song to do next. The goblin with the violin convinces the others to rehearse one with a long violin solo in the middle, although they aren’t happy about it, giving Kirsty an idea of how to separate him from the others. The girls and Victoria sneak backstage, and Victoria magically turns on a spotlight to shine on the front of the stage as soon as the solo begins. As planned, the goblin eagerly steps into the spotlight while Kirsty and Rachel lower one of the backdrop panels behind him. The goblin is so wrapped up in his music that he doesn’t notice the other three’s confused shouting from behind the backdrop or Victoria magically closing the main curtains so Charles won’t see anything strange if he returns.
Victoria hides in Kirsty’s pocket when the goblin finishes his solo and the girls applaud, hoping to cover the noise the other goblins are making. The goblin with the violin is very confused, and Kirsty hastily explains she and Rachel are stagehands and the backdrop fell down by mistake. She offers to hold the violin for the goblin so he can crawl under it, but he refuses, instead declaring he’ll set the violin down and crawl backwards so he can keep an eye on it. As Kirsty lifts part of the backdrop, Rachel spies an ordinary violin in a box and asks Victoria to turn off the lights while the goblin is crawling so she can switch the violins in the dark. The swap is successful, and once Kirsty lowers the backdrop again they can hear the goblin start to play - the ordinary violin still sounds okay with Victoria’s nearby, but it’s not nearly as good as the magic one. Victoria has to turn the girls into fairies so they can escape when all four goblins realise the trick and come crawling underneath the backdrop. Thwarted by the heavy curtains, the goblins grumble a bit and leave. Victoria tidies up the stage just before Charles returns with the news that Mr. Tate is there to pick the girls up.Trivia[]

- Parts of the book describe Victoria's fairy dust as red like her profile says, but elsewhere in the book it's described as blue.
