Rachel and Kirsty are building snowmen when Mr Walker asks them to take box of sufganiyot to Abigail's house, whose father Mr Walker is friends with. When they get there, Abigail invites them in to join their Hanukkah celebrations. Abigail and her sister Miriam leave Rachel and Kirsty in the sitting room to play with a dreidel. They see two Goblins sneaking around upstairs and ask them why they're doing this. The goblins hint at causing lots of trouble and that Jack Frost has sent them to spoil the family's Hanukkah celebrations.
Abigail and her family return to the sitting room to see the candles in their hanukkiah have disappeared. Abigail starts getting upset, as they cannot celebrate Hanukkah without their candles. The girls offer to look for them and when they step into the larder, the door locks behind them. As they wonder what to do, the dreidel Rachel was carrying spins for an unusually long time and Hana bursts out of it. She turns them into fairies and they all fly out the room. There's a lot of noise coming from the sitting room and they look through the keyhole to see Abigail and Miriam arguing with two people who look like Rachel and Kirsty. It is the goblins wearing wigs, causing trouble and being rude. The fairies see the magic hanukkiah inside the goblin's rucksack, but they spot them and run away to the kitchen. The goblin with the hanukkiah touches it to the food and it disappears, sending it to Jack Frost.
Rachel suggests they trick the goblins that there are more decorations outside so they don't disturb the family any more. The goblins run outside into the snowy garden, trying to navigate in the pitch black darkness. Hana manages to illuminate her wand a little bit and the goblins start following her, thinking it's something to do with the festival. Rachel and Kirsty grab onto the hanukkiah, trying to make it heavy so the goblin will drop it.
The goblins start arguing and bump into the garden shed, causing the snow on the roof to fall on them. Buried in the snow pile, the girls find the hanukkiah and Hana manages to find them, grabbing the hanukkiah. The goblins run away. Hana waves her wand to make Abigail forget everything that happened earlier and just then Abigail calls them in to light the hanukkiah. Hana says goodbye, disappears and the girls rejoin the family to enjoy the Hanukkah celebrations.
