Julia the Sleeping Beauty Fairy is the first fairy in the Fairytale Fairies series.

Kirsty and Rachel are very excited to be going to a Fairytale Festival! But naughty Jack Frost is causing trouble again, and magical characters have escaped into the human world. Can the girls help Julia the Sleeping Beauty Fairy put things right?

Julia has red hair in a loose bun, tied with a green ribbon. She wears a purple dress with pink underskirts and light pink high heels. Her wings are lilac-tinted.

Rachel and Kirsty are staying at Tiptop Castle near Tippington where it will be hosting the Fairytale Festival and are greeted by a man dressed as Puss in Boots, who lets them in. The girls explore the castle but when they take a book off the bookshelf, they find Hannah the Happy Ever After Fairy. She takes them to Fairyland and introduces them to the Fairytale Fairies who live on Fairytale Lane. They gift Rachel and Kirsty with The Fairies’ Book of Fairy Tales, but the pages are blank. The Fairytale Fairies realise all their magic objects are missing and turn to see Jack Frost and the Goblins have taken them. Jack Frost explains he’s going to make all the fairytales about him and vanishes.
The girls agree to help the fairies, starting with Julia the Sleeping Beauty Fairy, so she takes them back to Tiptop Castle. They enter the dining room to see a woman lying on one of the tables, surrounded by giggling children who think she’s a festival organiser in character. However, Julia recognises the woman is Sleeping Beauty and the girls see some goblins hiding under the table. They follow the goblins upstairs but are briefly stopped by Puss in Boots. Now they’ve lost the goblins. However, they see a man dressed as a prince hurrying towards them. He introduces himself as Prince Humphrey and the girls realises he must be from the Sleeping Beauty story. They tell him Sleeping Beauty is downstairs so he hurries off to wake her with a kiss and the girls find the bedroom Jack Frost is in. Julia turns them into fairies so they all sneak in to see him trying to sleep, but surrounded by fighting goblins.
The fairies spot the jewellery box under the pillow Jack Frost is sleeping on. Rachel suggests they start a pillow fight, so the girls turn back into humans and start throwing pillows, causing the goblins to start fighting too. However, Jack Frost doesn’t join in and runs away with the jewellery box. They chase him all the way down to the dining room where Prince Humphrey has woken up Sleeping Beauty. The girls tell them how Jack Frost casts them out of their story, so the two story characters help corner Jack Frost. The goblins appear and Jack Frost throws the jewellery box to them, but Kirsty jumps up and catches it.
Thanks to being perfectly timed, Kirsty hands the jewellery box back to Julia, who thanks the girls and disappears and Sleeping Beauty and the prince fading away with her. Jack Frost and the goblins stomp away and the girls enjoy the rest of their day. When it’s time to go to bed, they check The Fairies’ Book of Fairy Tales and are glad to see the Sleeping Beauty story restored, but the rest of the pages are still blank.

- Juila is best friends with Isabella the Air Fairy.
- Juila's best day ever was when she meet Rachel and Kirsty and giving them a special gift for them of a book call The Fairies' Book of Fairy Tales.
