Keira the Film Star Fairy (U.S. name: Keira the Movie Star Fairy) is the 20th fairy in the Holiday Special Fairies series.

Rachel and Kirsty are very excited about starring as extras in a new blockbuster movie that's being filmed in Kirsty's village! But naughty Jack Frost has taken the three magical objects Keira the Film Star Fairy needs to make sure everything goes smoothly. Can Kirsty and Rachel find the missing items and save the show?
Appearance[]
Keira has brown skin and short black hair held by a starburst hair slide. She wears a long scarlet satin gown decorated with glittering rhinestones and a star necklace and bracelet. Her wings are pointy and red-tinted.

The Silver Script[]
Rachel and Kirsty are on the set of The Starlight Chronicles movie watching rehearsals. The filming location is Mrs Croft’s cottage, a friend of the Tates whose house was scouted out for filming. She managed to get the two friends roles in the film as extras.
They watch the rehearsals spellbound, until they see a goblin sneaking around holding a script. Just like that, everyone forgets their lines and the girls leave to find the goblin.
Keira the Film Star Fairy flies out from a costume rack and tells the girls how Jack Frost wanted to be a film star so he sent the goblins to steal her magic objects which have been placed at the film set to ensure filming goes smoothly. Keira casts a spell to send a wave of gold stars in the direction of her script, which leads to the forest.
Deep in the forest, the girls hear the goblins play-acting. The girls ask Keira to disguise them as movie scouts and call over to the goblins in their best American accents, trying to convince them they’re Hollywood scouts wanting to give them some acting advice.
Rachel tells the goblins to act as if they’re writers handing in a manuscript to a publisher, who will be Kirsty. Easily, the actor goblin with the script hands it over to Kirsty, who gives it straight to Keira. The goblins are furious to have been tricked that hard and Keira returns to Fairyland with the script and the girls go back to the cottage.
The Magical Megaphone[]
Rehearsals resume and the girls watch lead actress Julianna Stewart work the scene with the fairy prince Chad Stenning. Her timing is off though and none of the other actors seem to be where they’re supposed to be. The director is shouting angrily through his megaphone but things just become even more confused.
Keira flies out of a fountain and asks to take the girls to Fairyland. They arrive at The Fairyland Palace, where Queen Titania is waiting for them by the Seeing Pool. She shows a recap of Jack Frost stealing the megaphone from the film set. Queen Titania sends them to his Ice Castle where he’s taken it.
The girls and Keira arrive at the castle where they can hear Jack Frost on the battlements, shouting through the megaphone, much to the pain of the goblins. Unable to do anything while he’s shouting, Keira magics herself and the girls earplugs. That’s when Kirsty gets the idea to give the goblins earplugs too, so she does so and the goblins stop reacting to Jack Frost’s booming orders.
Convinced the megaphone isn’t working anymore, he looks through the end and Rachel bursts through it, startling him and he drops it. Keira swoops over and takes the megaphone back and Jack Frost orders his goblins to go after them, but of course they can’t hear him.
The fairies return to the Seeing Pool and Queen Titania thanks them. Rachel and Kirsty invite Keira to watch them perform as extras the next day and she accepts their offer happily.
The Enchanted Clapperboard[]
The next day, Rachel and Kirsty are about to start filming their scene as fairy handmaidens to Julianna’s character. Julianna enters and wishes the four extras, Rachel, Kirsty, Angel and Emily, good luck. The director can’t get the clapperboard to clap, as it’s stuck. He uses two sticks of wood instead and filming commences, with the four girls fiddling around with Julianna’s dress as she monologues. Suddenly, a cameraman calls out as his camera has stopped working. Eventually, all the cameras stop working and the director leaves to find more.
Keira appears out of a camera lens and tells the girls that Jack Frost took her clapperboard in revenge for losing the other two items. They all hear goblin squawks above them and race upstairs to find two goblins messing around in a spare bedroom, one clutching the magic clapperboard.
The goblins run into another room full of crew and actors as they can’t see the goblins among all the people. Everything is going wrong and the director has given up. The goblins have hidden behind a parasol and the girls hide behind a statuette in fairy form. The director announces that everyone will watch rushes (footage filmed the day before) while the cameras are fixed.
While everyone is watching the scenes projected on the wall, the fairies make a grab for the goblin with the clapperboard. Meanwhile, the goblins are arguing over who would be a better actor and they begin fighting against the wall where the projector is pointed. The crew and actors are perplexed as to where the ‘ugly extras’ came from and the director orders someone to kick them out.
During the scuffle, Keira manages to grab the clapperboard and the fairies escape the cottage to see the goblins running away through the forest. Keira turns the girls human size again and wishes the girls luck on their scene. She disappears just as a runner calls the girls back in to start filming again.
