Kirsty's Grandparents live in Sundown and appears in Fizz the Fireworks Fairy.
Appearance[]
Kirsty's grandparents are old white people. Her Grandma has short grey hair and wears a long cardigan, a long necklace and glasses. Her Grandpa wears a shirt and trousers with suspenders. He has balding grey hair and a moustache.
Biography[]
Kirsty and Rachel come to stay with Kirsty's grandparents at their home in Sundown. They welcome them in, alongside Kirsty's mother and father. The girls are going to stay with them for the week when the town is celebrating its anniversary.
When they arrive, Grandma offers the girls some chocolate cake. Rachel is distracted by the sound of Fizz's fireworks and excuses herself. Kirsty joins her and Grandma is disappointed the girls don't want the cake. Later, when Mr and Mrs Tate are leaving, Grandma asks Grandpa why he would try to remember the cake recipe from scratch as it didn't taste nice!
Grandpa walks the girls down to the town's cupcake social. He is surprised to find that none of the cupcakes taste nice, but the girls know it is because Fizz's magical cupcake is missing. When Sandy's dad tries to buy her magical cupcake from some goblins later, Grandpa tells him it's not alright for him to be flashing cash to buy a singular cupcake. The goblins run away and Grandpa stops Kirsty and Rachel from running after them.
Two days later, Kirsty and Rachel get up for breakfast, expecting panackes, but are surprised that Kirsty's Grandma has just left a note telling them to help themselves to something in the fridge. The girls go into town and find Grandpa at the ice-cream shop. Kirsty knows that vanilla is his favourite but she sees he is disappointed that the store was out of vanilla. He explains that he and Grandma were tired of the usual routine of breakfast and decided not to bother that day. Again, Kirsty and Rachel know it is because Fizz's magical bunting is missing.
On the final day of their holiday, Grandma makes the special pancake breakfast the girls had been excited for. The grandparents then join the girls in town later that evening for the fireworks show.

- Kirsty calls them Grandma and Grandpa in the UK version, in the US version, she calls them Gran and Gramps.
