Kylie the Carnival Fairy needs Kirsty and Rachel's help! Jack Frost has stolen the three magic hats that make the Sunnydays Carnival so much fun, and the girls have to get them back...
Appearance[]
Kylie has brown skin with long brown hair twined with rainbow ribbons. She wears a yellow vest top with a rainbow-striped skirt, red ballet pumps with rainbow ribbons tied around her legs and rainbow coloured sweatbands on her wrists. Her wings are pointed and pale orange-tinted.

Magic Objects/Job[]

Carnival Hat Hijnks[]
Rachel, Kirsty, Mr and Mrs Tate are visiting the Sunnydays carnival in Wetherbury Village and watch the parade of performers. The girls spot jugglers who can't juggle, notice their huge shoes and realise they're goblins. They watch one steal the Carnival Master's hat off his head and run off.
A while later, they steal the Band Leader's hat, leaving the band in a mess. Rachel and Kirsty decide they need to investigate but it turns cold and they spot a clown staring at the Carnival Crown, it's revealed to be Jack Frost and he snatches the crown from its cushion and runs off.
Kylie the Carnival Fairy bursts out of a party popper and explains the uses of each hat. Together, they follow the goblins into the broken ghost train ride and hop into the carriage behind them. The Carnival Master's hat makes the ride work and the girls and goblins zoom through the ride.
The goblins are frightened by all the ghosts and at the end, hop onto the log flume. Rachel deducts that they can grab the hat off the goblins as the log flume rides down the waterways. Kirsty snatches it off them and the goblins are swept away with the flume, unable to get it back.
The girls return the hat to the Carnival Master's tent and hear him discussing closing the carnival down. As he puts it back on, the rides start working again and Kylie promises to return tomorrow to find the remaining hats.
Musical Muddle[]
The next day, the girls return to carnival to hear terrible music, with the dancers unable to keep in time and the few spectators plugging their ears.
At the end of the performance, the Carnival Master shamefully dismisses the dancers and the band and the girls move on, looking at all the tents they could go in. In the Hall of Mirrors, the girls find Kylie and leave to go searching for the Band Leader's hat.
Outside, they see goblins in the face-painting tent painting each other and dressing up. The girls spot the hat in the back of the tent and Kylie transforms them into fairies.
Just as they're flying towards it, a Cub Scout goblin picks it up, puts it on and runs off, declaring he wants to go on more rides. The other goblins follow and they all decide to go in the Hall of Mirrors, unaware of what it is.
The goblins enter the Hall of Mirrors are are horrified to see themselves reflected hundreds of times. After realising they are their own reflections, they leave and go to the teacups. Kylie uses her magic to make their cup spin around very fast, so fast that the hat falls off the goblin's head. The girls catch it and return it to the Band Master's tent and they go to watch the parade, the music perfectly in tune and in time.
Carnival Crown[]
Rachel and Kirsty are dressing up as cats for the final night of the carnival. They, along with Kirsty's parents dressed as clowns, go to the carnival and decide to meet up again for the fireworks display. The girls find Kylie riding a duck at the hook-a-duck stall who tells them Jack Frost has come to the festival to guard the Carnival Crown himself.
They spot jester goblins getting on the tunnel of love ride and follow them, watching them hop off in the middle of the ride and scuttle behind the painted set. Jack Frost is there, sitting on a throne wearing the crown. As he scolds the goblins on enjoying the carnival a bit too much, Rachel tries to grab the hat from behind his throne, but he notices and fires two ice bolts at the girls, jumping back on the ride.
The girls run back out to the carnival to see the goblins stealing toffee apples from children and Jack Frost freezing the water in the log flume. They see him queue up for the Ferris wheel and follow him, getting on the next carriage. Rachel asks Kylie to magic up a fishing rod like the ones at the hook-a-duck stall. As their carriage rises above Jack Frost's, they hook the Carnival Crown off his head and he’s having so much fun that he doesn’t notice a thing.
They dismount the ride, but the goblins run up to Jack Frost asking where the crown went. He turns around to see Rachel and Kirsty holding the crown and chases them to the main stage. Kirsty trips over coconut shy balls and drops the crown. Jack Frost catches it on the side of the stage and the Carnival Master sees him. He thanks Jack Frost profusely for finding the crown and the crowd applauds for him. Reluctant to hand over the crown, he eventually gives it over since he's in front of such a big audience. He leaves the stage to be hounded by children asking for his autograph.
A puff of fairy dust explodes in front of the girls and King Oberon and Queen Titania fly over to greet them. The King and Queen thank Rachel and Kirsty and magic model carousels into their hands as a thank-you. Just as the fireworks display begins, the King, Queen and Kylie disappear, leaving a burst of rainbow-coloured sparkles in the sky, to the Carnival Master’s surprise.
