Fairy Profile from the Official RM Facebook Page[]
Molly takes good care of Flash, the golden magic pet goldfish. Molly carries Flash in a glass fishbowl filled with water on her arm, like a tiny shining handbag. But unlike ordinary fish, Flash doesn't need to stay in his water bowl all the time, because he can swim through the air! Flash blows a stream of colourful bubbles when he's excited. When Molly waves her wand, it sends out a shower of turquoise Fairy dust. Molly is known in Fairyland for bringing good luck with her wherever she goes. She's always the first one picked when choosing teams.

Kirsty, her parents and Rachel are going to a barbecue at the Wainwrights’ house. The Wainwrights are friends of Kirsty’s parents and on the way Kirsty tells Rachel about their huge back garden. Once there, Mr. Wainwright tells Kirsty to show Rachel the garden gnomes and the fishpond where they now have a five fish named Rusty and Kirsty names the others for Rachel (Shadow, Clown, Flame and Spots) then they see a sixth fish, sparkly and golden. Rachel agrees it must be a magic pet and the girls are about to look for Molly the Goldfish Fairy when a gnome with a fishing net moves to capture the sparkly fish, it’s a goblin in disguise. The goblin tips the fish into a jar of water and calls out that he’s caught the magic goldfish and four more goblins dressed as various gnomes jump out from hiding places and crowd around. The girls confront the goblins, but they only laugh and try to escape with the jar.
Molly flutters in, but doesn’t seem worried to hear that her goldfish, Flash, has been captured. She calls for him and the magic fish begins swimming through the air to her, slipping through the fingers of each goblin who tries to catch him. When he reaches Molly, Flash shrinks to fit in the little fishbowl she carries hanging from her wrist. The goblins have come up with another plan, they crowd to the edge of the fishpond and scoop Clown the ordinary goldfish into the jar, demanding the girls trade Flash for Clown.
Flash sadly tells Molly to make the trade to keep Clown safe, but Kirsty has a different idea. She challenges the goblins to a game of tug-of-war, winning side gets both fish. Molly shrinks the girls and the goblins to fairy size (the goblins hold still for the spell because they’re confident they outnumber the girls) and creates a rope and a line on the ground with fairy magic. The goblins argue who should be at the front for a moment, then the game begins.
At first, it looks like the goblins will win, but then one steps on another’s foot and they begin arguing again. Some of them even take one hand off the rope to poke and shove each other and only the one at the front notices they’re losing until they’ve been pulled across the line. The goblins refuse to hand over the two goldfish, so Molly simply turns both girls human size to take the fish from the goblins, who are now too small to stop them. Kirsty tips Clown back into the pond while Flash returns to Molly, who traps all the goblins under the fishing net one of them had used, not to return to their normal size until Flash is back in Fairyland and all the fish in the pond are protected by his being there. Molly and Flash thank the girls and disappear just as Mrs Tate calls out that the food is ready.
