Rachel, Kirsty, Mr and Mrs Tate are heading back home after a trip to the funfair. Aunt Harri and Kirsty’s school friends are in the house for a surprise party. Aunt Harri’s ordered a birthday cake from Cupcake Corner, but it’s not in its box. She leaves to search round the house for it and Kirsty finds Nina the Birthday Cake Fairy inside, crying as she watched Jack Frost steal the birthday cake. Rachel spots a trail of crumbs leading outside to the garden shed and the girls find Jack Frost, scheming to himself, aloud. He uses his magic to change Kirsty’s name on the cake to ‘Jack Frost’ and Rachel can’t bear to watch this any longer and jumps out to confront him. He just disappears though.

Nina turns the girls into fairies and takes them to Jack Frost’s candy castle, where they find the Goblins are eating it. A goblin dressed as a town cryer announces Jack Frost’s birthday party and all the goblins gather in the marquee where Jack Frost is sitting at a candy cane throne with Kirsty’s birthday cake. The Gobolicious Band burst out of a present and sing (badly) to him. He begins to eat the cake, revealing Nina’s charm around his wrist and the fairies try to grab it as he eats. However, Jack Frost feels their wings on his hand and shoots thunderbolts at them, hitting the decorations, causing mayhem. He speeds out of the marquee, into the castle and up the tower, the fairies flying closely behind.

Kirsty remembers how irritated Jack Frost got as the goblins became ravenous for his birthday cake, so the fairies start to eat some of the candy castle at the bottom, infuriating Jack Frost. He leans out his window to threaten them but drops his wand and the charm slips off his wrist. Rachel flies to catch it, but Jack Frost falls from the tower, landing in the milkshake moat. The girls pull him out with a chocolate branch and the charm floats to the top, allowing Nina to pick it up. The candy castle melts away, with the goblins trying to scoff the last crumbs.

Not wanting to deal with his attitude, Nina magics the girls over to the Fairyland Sweet Factory, where the garden looks as tasty as ever and the other Sweet Fairies, Honey the Sweet Fairy, King Oberon and Queen Titania greet them. They thank Rachel and Kirsty once again and send them home where Kirsty’s party is still going. Aunt Harri arrives with another Cupcake Corner box, containing a pink birthday cake decorated with figurines of the Sweet Fairies. She lights the candles and Kirsty blows them out, thinking of a wish, but Rachel can guess what it is being more fairy adventures.
