Jack Frost's Poem[]
Christmas shows more fun than toys
Are popular with girls and boys,
But this year I have it in mind
To spoil their festive pantomimes.
Goblins, leave this very hour!
Bring me the items that have power
To ruin shows across the land,
And thwart the fairies' Christmas plans.

Ballet Slipper Slip-up[]
The Ballet Shoe
It is three more days til Christmas and Rachel and Kirsty are making their way to Tippington Theatre for the Cinderella pantomime rehearsal Rachel will be dancing in. When they get there, they’re greeted by Rachel’s friend Karen Lewis who shows them Rachel’s costume. The director, Mr Robinson, tells Rachel and Karen that one of the other dancers, Clarissa, has chicken pox and Kirsty volunteers to take her place, with Rachel reassuring him she’ll teach her the dance. Mr Robinson agrees and the girls go into their dressing room to try their dresses on. One of the mirror light pops and Paige flies out of it, telling the girls she needs their help as Jack Frost wants to ruin Christmas for everybody because he wanted to get the part of Prince Charming but ended up with Second Tree in the forest scene in the Fairyland pantomime.
Paige hiding in a pocket
She tells the girls about her items and Rachel remembers how Mr Robinson also told them no one’s outfits fitted them. Before they start looking, a goblin holding the magic ballet slipper sneaks into their room and is surprised they’re in there. He runs off down the corridors and the girls follow after him, ending up in a room full of props. The goblin begins climbing a ladder to get away from them, but he becomes scared as he climbs higher. He missteps and falls, dropping the ballet shoe. Paige magics a can of paint over to the goblin to break his fall, and once he realises they have the ballet slipper back, he dejectedly leaves, leaving painty footprints.
Back at the dressing room, the wardrobe mistress, Mrs Spencer, has managed to make everyone’s costumes fit again, and Paige thanks them and leaves, promising to return tomorrow. Rachel gets back to teaching Kirsty the dance steps.
More Missing Magic[]
The Golden Horseshoe
The next morning, the girls arrive at the theatre for a dress rehearsal and agree to look out for the magic horseshoe. They see two ponies dressed up, ready to pull on the pumpkin coach and the girls, Karen and Lucy, the fourth dancer in the group, get into their dresses. The dress rehearsal begins and they sit and watch until their part. Suddenly, a piece of wooden scenery falls over, making a loud bang and scaring the ponies. They bolt off into the wings but Rachel and Kirsty manage to catch them, seeing Paige hidden in one of their headdresses. The woman playing the Fairy Godmother who brought them in, Alison, notices one of the ponies has lost a shoe, and the girls and Paige deduce that it is the magic horseshoe.
Paige on a horse's head
They notice a goblin going up the stairs of the lobby with a horseshoe in hand, and Paige turns them into fairies other can search the rows of seats. They spot him on the balcony but realise there’s not just one goblin. After splitting up to search, Paige finds the goblin with the horseshoe and he sees her, scrambling away. He runs into the light and sound booth and wedges the door closed behind him. Rachel spots the vent in the booth is big enough for a fairy to get in, so they all squeeze through. The goblin still refuses to give back the horseshoe, but as he pulls off the chair wedging the door shut, the other two goblins pushing at it tumble in, falling onto him and making him drop the horseshoe. Kirsty picks it up and tells them to leave.
Rachel and Kirsty return to the lobby and Paige thanks them, and says she will ask India the Moonstone Fairy to give them sweet dreams tonight. She disappears and the girls hand in the horseshoe, and the rehearsal continues, with all the props working as they should.
The Show Must Go On[]
Cinderella's Glass Slipper
On Christmas Eve, the cast of the pantomime are celebrating by pulling Christmas crackers. Inside Rachel and Kirsty’s is Paige, and she warns them that Jack Frost and the goblins will be after the magic glass slipper. They check the props and see the magic slipper safely stored in a shoebox and promise Paige that they’ll keep an eye on them.
Paige bursts out of a Christmas cracker
The pantomime starts off smoothly, and they get to the part where the Fairy Godmother is preparing Cinderella to go to the ball. She calls out to bring the glass slippers, but the is confused as the pumpkin comes first. Cinderella brings her the pumpkin and it magically turns into the coach. The Fairy Godmother then demands for the glass slippers, but everyone is still confused, as the dress comes next. Kirsty notices her voice is a bit gruff but the stage effects magically turn Cinderella’s rags into a beautiful gown. Now it’s time for the slippers, and the Fairy Godmother turns to the wings to get them when the girls notice she is actually Jack Frost! As he goes to grab them, Kirsty snatches them away, the audience giggling as they think it’s part of the performance. A panicked stagehand sets off another smoke bomb and Kirsty passes them to Rachel. They don’t know how to get the shoes to Cinderella, but as another smoke bomb goes off, Paige magics the shoes into Cinderella’s hands. Jack Frost, angry at the girls, says his last lines and leaves into the wings.
Paige hiding in Kirsty's hair
It’s time for Rachel and Kirsty’s dance, and Paige agrees to watch the glass slippers as they dance. When the clock goes off, Cinderella runs off, leaving the magic slipper, which is grabbed by a goblin dressed up as a mouse but Prince Charming manages to wrestle it from him. Later on, the girls discover Jack Frost has dressed up as an Ugly Sister, sitting on the shoulders of a goblin. He snatches the slipper to show it does fit, but Prince Charming calls for his footmen, who Paige transforms Rachel and Kirsty into. Jack Frost finds himself cornered and with resignation gives the shoe back. The show is nearly at the end but Jack Frost won’t stop following Cinderella. As he raises his wand to cast a spell, Paige opens a trapdoor and the goblin and Jack Frost fall into it, and the audience laughs, applauding the cast as they gather for a bow.
Back in the dressing room, King Oberon and Queen Titania arrive on a rainbow to thank the girls for their work, hinting at one final surprise as they and Paige disappear. The dressing room door opens and Mr and Mrs Walker, and Mr and Mrs Tate walk in, explaining how they all were mysteriously delivered tickets for the show earlier that day, even when the show was sold out. The parents leave to wait outside, and the girls are glad they can enjoy Christmas.
