Rachel and Kirsty are walking to The Fernandos' Fabulous Funfair, where they are greeted by Matilda and Georgia at the front gate. Matilda asks what they want to try and Georgia suggests the dodgems. Acquring tickets, they arrive at the dodgem rink, where the four girls pair off into seperate cars. Becky, the operator, starts it up, but the dodgems spin on the spot. Becky asks Matilda and Georgia to get their parents; Rachel and Kirsty are about to leave when Kirsty sees a glow which is Paloma asking for their help. They leave the rink but Kirsty notices two people sitting in a dodgem. The dodgem flies off the rink and onto the field; the girls figure they're goblins who drive all around the funfair. Turned into fairies, the girls try to stop the goblins, including using water pistols, until the goblins and their dodgem vanish to the Ice Castle.

Arriving at the castle, they find themselves in a Jack Frost-themed funfair, where the same goblins are driving on the frozen pond. Kirsty sees Jack Frost himself standing at the top of a helter-skelter. The fairies ask him to give back Paloma's key ring and he refuses, saying he's using its magic to create his own funfair to admire. Kirsty tells him that funfairs aren't meant to be admired but enjoyed and points out the goblins in the dodgem. Jack Frost slides down the helter-skelter and across the pond, demanding the key ring. The goblin driver holds it out but Rachel swoops to grab it; the other goblin knocks it out of his hand and Jack Frost grabs it.

He drives in his own dodgem to bump into the other cars and Kirsty has an idea, making Paloma create a dodgem out of snow. Jack Frost crashes into it, bringing snow around him, and the key ring flies out of his hand into Rachel's who gives it to Paloma. Jack Frost demands the goblins' assistance to brush the snow off him and the fairies try to convince him that funfairs are meant to be shared. Returning to Tippington, Paloma thanks the girls and goes back to Fairyland, while Georgia and Matilda take them to the now-working dodgems. They all have fun bumping around before they go to the helter-skelter.

Trivia[]

  • Paloma loves to travel by tapping her wand on her toes and vanishing feet first, leaving fairy dust glimmering in the air.
