Fairy Profile from the Official RM Facebook Page[]
Polly is in charge of organising all the party games and activities that keep the fun going and the laughter flowing. The sillier the party game, the more likely it is that Polly invented it in the first place. She says it doesn't matter if you win or lose the game, because when you're having fun with your friends, everybody wins. Her wand sends out showers of tiny, balloon-shaped blue glitter. Polly can make any activity enjoyable, which comes in handy when the party is finally over and it's time to clean up. She says everything is more fun when you make a game of it - even washing the dishes!

Kirsty and her Brownie pack are having a mini jamboree and Rachel gets to join them because she’s also a Brownie and she’s visiting Kirsty for the week. Kirsty eagerly describes last year’s jamboree with they being games, prizes and a barbecue. When they get to the party, Rachel reminds her they should be on the lookout for goblins. The mini-bus they’re riding stops in a clearing where another Brownie pack has already arrived and the girls follow their fellow Brownies off the bus, scanning the area for signs of a goblin. The first activity is an obstacle race and each pack selects a team of four volunteers. Kirsty and Rachel are paired with two girls named Jenny and Emily as Mrs. Talbot, the Brownie leader, explains the course. Each team will need to run along a raised plank balance beam, crawl under a net, use a row of buckets as stepping stones, have each member score a netball goal, then row a rubber dinghy raft across the wide, shallow stream nearby.
Kirsty and Rachel’s team pulls ahead in the race, but is held up at the netball goal as Emily takes several tries. They’re only barely ahead by the time they reach the raft and in the middle of the stream the dinghy starts to leak. Mrs. Carter, the other pack’s leader, instructs the girls to take off their shoes and socks and wade ashore just as the other dinghy springs a leak as well. Back on the bank, Mrs. Carter discovers that both dinghies have been pierced by thorns and blames herself for putting them near a thorny bush, but Kirsty and Rachel suspect goblin sabotage. Mrs. Talbot says she can’t find the parcel she brought for a pass-the-present game and goes to look for it while all the Brownies have an egg-and-spoon race. Emily’s egg is the first to fall, stinking and rotten when it breaks, to Mrs. Carter’s confusion. Kirsty glances at her egg just as it starts to crack in the spoon, soon it and five other Brownies’ eggs are hatching. Soon, six chicks are scattering around the clearing with Brownies chasing after them. Rachel and Kirsty follow Kirsty’s chick into the trees where they find Polly the Party Fun Fairy at the base of a tree.
Polly greets the girls and asks if they’ve seen her party bag, but is sure she’s only misplaced it and she hasn’t seen any goblins around. Before they can help her find it, Jenny calls them away for a game of Frisbee. Mrs. Carter collects all the chicks into a cardboard box to be taken to a nearby farm and raised there and the Frisbee game begins. Kirsty misses a high catch that sails off towards where Polly is searching and she and Rachel volunteer to get it so no one else will see Polly, just as Mrs. Talbot announces snack time. They find the Frisbee caught in a bush with some help from Polly, but a goblin clutching Polly’s party bag grabs it first and runs. They chase him to the edge of the stream, where he flips the Frisbee over and uses it as a raft, with a spoon from the egg-and-spoon race as a paddle. Polly turns the girls into fairies to give chase and Rachel has an idea. She and Kirsty grab one of the stepping-stone buckets from the obstacle race as Polly tries to grab her bag and the goblin tries to hit her with the spoon.
The girls drop the bucket right over the goblin’s head and Polly makes it stick with magic. With the goblin unable to see, they’re able to take the spoon and the party bag away from him and drag him and the Frisbee to shore. Polly turns the girls back into humans and performs one other bit of magic, which she says is a secret, before leaving for Fairyland with the goblin in tow. The girls return to the Brownie packs with the Frisbee, truthfully explaining it went in the stream and took them longer to get it back. Mrs. Talbot tells them to eat their snack quickly because it’s time for another game and Mrs. Carter returns from the mini-bus with a sparkly parcel. Mrs. Talbot doesn’t recognize the paper, which lets Kirsty and Rachel know this must have been Polly’s secret. The game commences, with a surprise flying out at each layer of wrapping paper with shiny bubbles, colourful confetti and a burst of crackling glitter. Rachel opens the last layer to reveal a pile of sweets for everyone.
