Glitter Puzzle[]
The glitter puzzle is named because some pieces have glitter on them when the puzzle is completed. On the back of the box is a description of the Rainbow Magic series and questions about the puzzle (example Feast at the Palace: 'Can you find 4 necklaces?')

Mystery puzzle[]
The 'mystery' aspect of this is to figure out what's happening in the pictures when the puzzle is completed. There is a paper booklet included that has part of the story with no pictures. On the back of the booklet is questions and answers written backwards, requiring the use of a mirror to read them properly.
