Riley the Skateboarding Fairy is the second fairy in the Gold Medal Games Fairies series.

Riley the Skateboarding Fairy is worried that Jack Frost will sabotage her skating competition when he steals her magical object. Kirsty and Rachel need to help get her magical skateboard back before the event is a disaster!
Appearance[]
Riley has blonde hair with a pink helmet. She wears a blue denim jacket over a tie-dye shirt and blue shorts, white socks with purple espadrille shoes and pink knee pads and elbow pads. Her wings are pointed and orange-tinted.

Rachel wakes up and goes to see Kirsty down by the water front. They go to check out the skate park for the competition later and meet Riley the Skateboarding Fairy. She explains that she, Soraya the Skiing Fairy and Jayda the Snowboarding Fairy were watching over the surfing festival when some Goblins came and ruined everything. They then realised their objects were stolen. Then Rachel notices a young woman in the skate park with them and they go to say hello. She introduces herself as Lana Cassidy, a judge for the skateboarding competition.
She gives her skateboard to the girls for them to try out their tricks. Then Lightning Jack and three goblins turn up with Riley's skateboard under his arm. He brags about being the best skateboarder and Lana tries to convince him to be nicer and retorts back before leaving. Lightning Jack zooms around the skate park and Rachel asks Riley if she can touch her skateboard and shrink it to fairy size. Riley tries to do so, only to be caught in the hands of Lightning Jack. The girls ask him to let her go, but he ignores them and the girls abandon them for breakfast.
At breakfast, Kirsty introduces Rachel to Sean Plum, a boy from her school who skateboards. When Sean mentions he is a fan of Lana Cassidy, Rachel gets an idea for her and Kirsty to be fans of Lightning Jack (reminiscent of Layne the Surfing Fairy). They dress in baggy clothing and make banners and badges. When they return to the skate park, it is busier. The girls rush up to Lightning Jack asking for his autograph and he lets them sit with him and the goblins. The competition begins with Sean as the first skateboarder, but he fails while Lightning Jack passes. He becomes angered at not getting full marks and threatens to freeze everybody. Kirsty shouts some people over and they crowd around Lightning Jack, who passes the magical skateboard to the goblins. The girls look under the seats and see litter, finding Riley and her wand in separate crisp packets.
She turns them into fairies and they find the goblins trying to sand surf. The goblins moan and one of them says he wants to play beach ball. Kirsty asks Riley to magic up some beach balls so while the goblins are distracted she can touch her skateboard. The plan is successful and Lightning Jack appears and sees what happened. He stamps on his baseball cap and says he still has time to prepare for the winter games, before he and the goblins disappear. Riley thanks the girls, turns them back into humans and in new skateboarding clothes and disappears. Sean wins the skateboarding gold medal and Rachel becomes worried over Lightning Jack still having two of the objects. Kirsty says he won't succeed and Rachel says best friends make the best team.
