Rachel runs into the Storytelling Festival site while Kirsty reads lines from a book tent before catching up. They meet Alana Yarn on the river path, who ask them to find a tower for the next activity. Kirsty leads Rachel to the riverside playground and they find the tower, with children inside sitting with activity books. The girls flip through a book to discover Rapunzel has been replaced with a blue haired Jack Frost. They ask the other children what they think and the children reply that they like it. Rachel sees Rosalie the Rapunzel Fairy outside the tower window and she and Kirsty tell her they've seen Jack Frost in their book and Rosalie reveals he is inside the story. Conjuring up a book, she whisks Rachel, Kirsty and herself into Rapunzel's story.

The trio are outside Rapunzel's tower when Jack Frost starts singing badly. With no entry, the girls become fairies and fly up to the window, but Jack Frost sees them. Rachel and Kirsty call up to him to let down his hair and he does so, using it to whip the fairies. They use his hair to climb into the room and find him brushing his hair (actually a wig) with Rosalie's magic hairbrush. They watch until he spots them, Rachel asks why is he wearing a wig and he goes to his Ice Castle to not be bothered by them.

The girls and Rosalie travel there to find a hair salon, with Jack Frost in the chair and the goblins acting as hairdressers. Jack wants long hair like Rapunzel but the goblins point out the wig they used. Rachel and Kirsty disguise themselves as goblin hairdressers and offer to give Jack a hairstyle he wants if he gives them the magic hairbrush, but their disguises wear off and Jack runs from them.

Rachel and Kirsty grab each end of the wig and use it to trip Jack Frost, sending the hairbrush flying. Rachel grabs it and Rosalie takes it from her. Jack Frost becomes upset and Rosalie makes the wig on his head real. Leaving Jack Frost to demand treatment from the goblin hairdressers, the girls and Rosalie return to the storybook world to find Rapunzel's story going correctly. Rosalie thanks the girls and they return to the playground to enjoy the activity books.

Trivia[]
