Sandy's dad is a rich man. He comes to the Sundown cupcake social with his daughter. The goblins are trying to sell Fizz's cupcake and he offers as much money as they like for it. When Kirsty's Grandad expresses disdain for this action, he begins to question whether the goblins even baked the cupcake. When they run away, he chases after them.
