Fairy Profile from the Official RM Facebook Page[]

Three words describe Sienna: busy, busy, and busy! Saturdays are for playing sports and shopping and hiking and canoeing and going to the beach and meeting her friends for lunch and a hundred other fun things. She hates to see anyone letting a Saturday go to waste, which is why if she sees an adult snoozing away in a hammock, she can't help but give them a poke in the behind. Sienna's magic is a particularly bright shade of pink, which she likes to remind everyone is fuchsia - mainly because every time she says "fuchsia", Amber says.

Blurb[]

Kirsty and Rachel are taking part in a fashion show, but it won't be much fun without the missing Fun Day Flag. Sienna the Saturday Fairy needs the girls' help to find it so that everyone can enjoy the day.

Appearance[]

Sienna has light brown hair worn in pigtails. She wears a red sleeveless top with a light pink skirt, red ballet shoes with ribbons, and a pink star necklace. Her wings are round and pink-tinted.

Magical Object/Job[]

Magic Object: The Saturday Fun Flag.

Job: She makes sure Saturdays are full of fun and aren't miserable.

Rachel's cousin Caroline has opened a new boutique in a mall, and Rachel and Kirsty will be modelling in her grand opening fashion show. A catwalk and a backstage area with several rooms have been set up in the mall lobby with temporary walls. A news photographer is setting up equipment, but none of the people in the audience area look excited for the show to start. Caroline gives the girls their outfits and shows them to a dressing room, and her coworker Susan shows them to the catwalk entrances once they’ve put on party dresses. When they walk along the catwalk and back, the girls can see the audience looking glum, which they know is because the Saturday Flag is missing.

When the girls are changing into their next outfits (winter clothes), Kirsty is happily surprised to find the magic flag among her accessories. She wears it as a scarf for safekeeping while Rachel looks for her gloves, which Caroline eventually finds with Kirsty’s help in a different room. By the time the girls return to the dressing room, the rest of Rachel’s winter outfit is missing, but Sienna the Saturday Fairy is in one of the gloves. She greets the girls, glad to hear they’ve found the flag, and tells them the day’s clue-rhyme, which seems to hint they’ll lose the flag but find it again. Rachel describes her winter outfit to Sienna, who makes a new one appear on her just in time for her and Kirsty to model again.

However, there’s already a model at Rachel’s entrance to the catwalk, wearing the missing outfit. As Kirsty unwittingly walks alongside the other model, the audience perks up thanks to the Saturday Flag nearby, but Rachel has realised the other model is a strangely tall goblin. She rushes out to stop him, and Kirsty realises what’s going on, but the goblin snatches the flag and runs backstage, tripping Rachel when she tries to follow. The audience, thinking it’s a cleverly staged skit, applauds. Fortunately for the girls, Susan saw Kirsty helping Rachel up and assumed they’d bumped into each other, so she rearranges the schedule so their third modelling slot is last in the show to give them time to recover.

The girls see Rachel’s discarded winter outfit and a pair of stilts backstage, which Sienna makes vanish so no one gets confused. After searching through racks of clothes, they find the goblin in the wardrobe room, but he dodges into the makeup room. Luckily there aren’t many hiding places in there, and soon Kirsty has figured out that the goblin is in a swivel chair facing away from them. Sienna uses magic to spin the chair until he’s dizzy, and then it’s easy for Kirsty to grab the flag. The sulky goblin collides with a makeup table on his way out, but Sienna easily cleans up the resulting mess.

The girls change into sparkly tops with jeans for their final modelling slot as Sienna returns the flag to Fairyland and recharges her Fun Day magic. When they appear on the catwalk, the music and lights are extra special, and the girls glimpse Sienna on top of a disco ball above them. All the models are soon dancing along the catwalk as streamers and confetti shower them from above, thrilling the news photographer. Sienna flutters down amid the confetti to thank the girls before returning to Fairyland again.
