A new leisure centre has opened half way between Wetherbury and Tippington, and Rachel and Kirsty are excited because it means they will be able to do after school clubs together. The girls can't decide which club they want to do, so they're going to do some taster sessions. Their dads head off to the new gym, whilst the girls go to meet the coordinator, Lucy. She says they haven't had many customers so far, but is hoping that the after school clubs will bring people in. She asks the girls which club they'd like to try first and they choose trampolining. They go get changed and warm up with the instructor, Edie. While they warm up, the trampolines in the room start to break! Edie sends everyone to take a break and Rachel and Kirsty go to get water. Kirsty presses the botton for water, but a stream of rainbow magic comes out instead! It's Teri the Trampolining Fairy!
The girls go hide in a changing cubicle to talk to her, and she explains that Jack Frost has stolen the After School Sports Fairies' magical bracelets because his sister, Jilly Chilly, beat him in arm-wrestling and he wants to get fit to beat her. Teri turns the girls into fairies and they head off to Fairyland. They arrive in Fairyland Arena, where the Fairyland Olympics had been held. All the other After School Sports Fairies come to greet the girls, all full of lots of energy. After talking for a while, Teri uses the arena's camera system to show the girls a video of Jack Frost stealing the bracelets from the fairies' lockers. They think he must have gone to the Ice Castle, and all six of them head off.
It's very foggy near the Ice Castle, so the fairies can't see anything, but they can hear the sound of trampolines. The six of them hold hands so as not to lose one another, and press on. Finally they come across Jack Frost, bouncing on a trampoline in the forest. Goblins are nearby, but are playing with torches rather than pay attention to intruders. Jack Frost falls off the trampoline and blames the goblins. Then he realises there is a perfectly good leisure centre in the human world he could be using instead, and if he can just scare away any human visitors he'll have the place to himself. He throws three of the bracelets to his goblins, telling them to head over to the Cool Kids Leisure Centre and wreak havoc. Callie, Rita, and Bonnie follow the goblins, but Jack Frost still has Teri's and he disappears back to the Ice Castle.
Teri uses her magic and the fog to fashion some grey cloaks for her and the girls and they use the fog cover to approach the castle. The castle is full of goblins jumping on trampolines, and once they break in, they see there are many unused trampolines which seem to be able to walk on their legs! The girls set off to look for Jack Frost, and they hear singing from behind a door. They're just about to go in when a goblin runs right through the door, leaving a goblin-shaped hole. When the girls peer through, they see that Jack Frost is in the bath. The goblin has landed in the bath opposite him! He says he's scared of the trampolines and the fairies, and Jack Frost spots the intruders. He says he gave the trampolines movement so they could get out of his way, but tells Teri to get rid of them. She says she can't do that without her bracelet and he sends them out of the room to get out of the bath. Then he appears at the door wrapped in a towel and agrees to take them to the bracelet.
He leads them to the basement of the castle and to a dead end. He explains that you have to say 'Ice is Nice' to reveal the hidden chamber, which works. Inside a cage is the bracelet, and Jack Frost unlocks it for them. The three go inside and he locks the door behind them, leaving them trapped. Teri uses her bracelet's magic to make one of the cage bars extra bouncy and it bounces right out of its socket, and the girls step through. They sneak back upstairs, where chaos has ensued! Goblins and trampolines alike have racoon tails, wings, and manes, goblins have changed colour. Jack Frost has let the goblins run wild with Teri's wand. They spot two goblins fighting over the wand, and fly through the air, dodging flying trampolines. A goblin is kneeling on Teri's wand, and she uses her bracelet's magic to make him bounce into the air, and they can grab the wand. Teri magicks them back to the changing room cubicle, and Edie knocks on the door, announcing that the trampolines are fixed and the lesson can go on.
Trivia[]
