Rachel and Kirsty are building a sandcastle on the beach at sunset, worried that they haven’t met a single fairy all day. However, sparkles begin to shine from inside the castle, and Tess the Sea Turtle Fairy turns the girls into fairies to join her inside. She reports that Pearl, her sea turtle, is guarding a piece of the broken magic conch shell in the tropics, then whisks the girls away with her to a much warmer beach. There, several tiny sea turtles—new hatchlings—are scuttling across the sand, but they’re not heading towards the water like they’re supposed to.

The three fairies spread out, searching for Pearl in hopes she can lead the hatchlings in the right direction. Kirsty is searching near a tree when she hears voices complaining about wet, sandy feet. She calls Rachel and Tess, who discover a group of parrots mimicking goblin voices. Resuming their search, Kirsty notices a sparkle in the water that turns out to be Pearl the turtle. Climbing onto the shore, Pearl says she thinks the magic shell piece has washed up nearby, and the girls warn her there must be Goblins in the area too. Tess says they should help the baby turtles first, and turns around to see that all the hatchlings are now trailing after three goblins with a bucket.

When the goblins notice the baby turtles, they yelp in fright, trying to shoo what they think are baby Pogwurzels away with their sunhats. Upon seeing the three fairies, the goblins begin to run. Tess and Rachel keep the goblins’ attention long enough for Kirsty to confirm that the missing shell piece is in the bucket, and Tess comes up with a plan as the goblins stop running and begin arguing. At Tess’s request, Pearl begins to lead the baby turtles, to the goblins’ relief. The argument changes from how to get away from the Pogwurzels to who should deliver the shell to Jack Frost, and the goblins don’t notice where Pearl has taken the hatchlings until they’re surrounded. The goblin with the bucket drops it in panic, and Rachel quickly scoops up the shell piece.

Pearl leads the baby turtles safely to the water with all three fairies flying alongside. Once all the hatchlings have reached the sea, Tess thanks the girls and brings them to the Fairyland Royal Aquarium, where Shannon reattaches the shell piece to the conch. She sends the girls back to the beach in Leamouth with her magic, and the girls find themselves human and a shiny flag atop their sandcastle.
