Trixie the Halloween Fairy makes sure that Halloween is fun-filled and exciting for everyone! But when a gang of greedy goblins steal Trixie's Enchanted Sweets, all Halloween plans are thrown into chaos. Can Kirsty and Rachel help Trixie find the Enchanted Sweets before this special day is ruined for everyone?

Appearance[]

Trixie has pale skin with shoulder-length orange hair pushed back by a black hairband with a black bow. She wears a short, orange dress with a silky black sash around the waist over black-and-orange striped tights, black shoes, and a black star pendant around her neck. Her wings are pointy and orange-tinted.

Symbol: Orange, white-tinted stars.

Magic Objects/Job[]

Magic Objects:

  1. The Chocolate Bar: ensures everyone's Halloween costumes are perfect and are not muddled/mixed up with other costumes.
  2. The Magic Jellybeans: makes sure that there is plenty of sweets for everyone on Halloween night.
  3. The Toffee Apple: makes sure that all trick-or-treaters enjoy the full magic of the day. Without it, people get scared and also less enjoyable.

Job: Trixie's job is to make sure that Halloween is not too spooky so that kids and older people can enjoy the magic of the night.

Jack Frost's Poem[]

I, Jack Frost, have planned a nasty scare.

Indeed, all human should beware.

Halloween will be all trick - no treat,

Since my goblins stole what makes the day so sweet.

To the world of humans the goblins go.

The magic sweets are lost and will stay so.

All kids in costume will have a might fright,

When they have no fun on Halloween night.

The Chocolate Chase[]

Kirsty is visiting Rachel at her home in Tippington Town for Halloween, and they’re planning to go trick-or-treating as fairies. As Rachel shows Kirsty the wings for their costumes, her dog Buttons spots a black cat in the window and knocks the box over. The girls find the wings are broken and the rest of their costumes are ruined. They decide to go to the party shop to find new costumes.

On the way, Kirsty comments on an old spooky-looking Victorian mansion. Rachel spots a figure inside but dismisses it. In the shop, there is a long queue for the returns counter, as all the customers are having problems with their costumes. While the girls look for new costumes, they meet Trixie the Halloween Fairy. She tells them Jack Frost attempted to steal her enchanted sweets but instead accidentally sent them into the human world. The girls agree to help get them back when some noisy boys catch their attention. They’re Goblins, and they’re looking for something.

The girls and Trixie follow them into the store room and find them causing trouble and making mess. Kirsty spots them finding something orange and sparkly, and the girls chase after the seven goblins through the town. The goblins are stopped by the black cat that disturbed Buttons earlier, and Kirsty realises the sparkly thing she saw them find was just a mask. Trixie says the black cat is called Moonlight and was caught in the spell that sent the sweets to the human world.

They all return to the party shop where the owner, Mrs Burns, is busy tidying up. Rachel and Kirsty help her, and as Rachel picks up a clown wig, a load of sweets come pouring out of it, including Trixie’s glittery chocolate bar. Mrs Burns offers them some sweets as a thank-you. She also finds new fairy wings for the girls. Rachel and Kirsty see Trixie flying away to take her chocolate bar back to Fairyland.

The Jellybean Jaunt[]

It’s Halloween night and Rachel and Kirsty are getting ready to go out trick-or-treating. Mr and Mrs Walker are giving out sweets at the door when they find the bowl of sweets is missing. Knowing they have to find Trixie’s magic jellybean, the girls set off trick-or-treating, agreeing to meet Rachel’s parents at the Halloween party later.

Their first stop is the Kemps’ house, who are friends with Mr and Mrs Walker. As the girls taste the sweets they gave them, they realise they don’t taste very nice. Trixie appears behind them and says she knows where her magic jellybean might be. She leads the girls to a house where a woman dressed as a witch welcomes them in to choose some sweets. However, when she turns around to look in her cauldron, it’s empty. She says a large group of ghosts took all the sweets, including one with a sparkly orange wrapper. The girls suspect the ghosts are actually goblins, and vow to get the sweets back for her, so they set off to find the group of ghosts.

Trixie turns them into fairies and they fly over Tippington, coming across the group of ghosts gathering in a playground. Rachel and Kirsty turn back into human-size and chase the goblins through the town. They end up in Windy Hollow park, and the goblins are sitting around eating sweets. Kirsty comes up with a plan - Trixie magics the goblins’ ghost costumes into the air, and Rachel and Kirsty threaten them to give back the sweets in their ghostliest voices. Suddenly, a goblin announces he’s found the magic sweet but Moonlight pounces on him and he drops it. Trixie is delighted and sends the girls back to their street, along with the sweets back to the witch. Rachel and Kirsty resume their trick-or-treating.

The Toffee Apple Adventure[]

After a busy evening ringing doorbells, the girls decide to go to the town Halloween party, which is being held in the spooky mansion Kirsty saw earlier. Turns out it’s now a community centre so there’s nothing to worry about. Kirsty finds herself being spooked by the decorations but decides she’ll feel better once they get Trixie’s magic toffee apple back. Inside, Mrs Walker asks the girls to help get the party started since no one seems to be having fun.

They head up to the second floor where the games are. They find Trixie, and spot some goblins doing pumpkin-carving. Jack Frost is there too, and orders the goblins to find the toffee apple. Before they can do anything else, Mr Walker asks them to help organise Musical Chairs. They hear a sound and see Moonlight racing past the door, followed by a crowd of goblins. Rachel and Kirsty follow them and hear Moonlight meowing from behind a bookshelf. Kirsty pulls a book and the bookshelf spins around to reveal a secret staircase behind it. It leads them to the main floor, right by the food table. They spot a tray of toffee apples on it, including one wrapped in a glittery orange wrapper. Jack Frost is just about to grab it when a boy dressed as a pirate compliments his ‘costume’. Jack Frost, flattered, says his mother made it. He takes the toffee apple and offers it to the boy, but a goblin races past, snatching it from Jack Frost. The other goblins begin fighting over it and amongst the chaos, it flies into the air. Moonlight, resting on a chandelier, swats it away towards the secret door, and Kirsty catches it.

Trixie takes the toffee apple and hurries back to Fairyland. Meanwhile, everyone at the party is having fun, including Jack Frost, his new pirate friend, and the goblins. Trixie returns to thank the girls and give them pumpkin sweet jars from the King and Queen. Moonlight joins her turning into fairy size, and they both vanish. Rachel and Kirsty go back to enjoying the party.
